Another Circular Orbit
Public Test. This edition's content and difficulty rating are still under review.
Compare two steady circular motions of the same particle. In the second, its circular path has three times the radius of the first, but its angular-momentum magnitude is unchanged. What is the ratio of the required centripetal-force magnitudes, F2/F1? You may use L=mvr and F=mv2/r, with speed perpendicular to the radius.

About Tier 4 - Tensor
A layered challenge requiring substantial reasoning or technical control.
Difficulty describes the challenge, not the solver. It is a Society guide rather than a formal academic level.
The tier is a Society guide to the amount of reasoning, technical work and insight a problem is expected to require. Your experience may vary depending on the topic and your background.
